Techmeetup

Informatics Ventures is proud to support the monthly “Tech Meetups” that have been bringing Edinburgh’s techie community together for pizza, beer and conversation since September 2008.

TechMeetup was founded because there were few events where techies could meet each other, share ideas and find out what everyone else was working on.

United by a passion for technology, people from all backgrounds come along and the atmosphere is always welcoming and informal. The result has been a great environment for talent to hire and be hired and although it has a tech focus, all sorts participate, including a healthy level of angel investors.

The Edinburgh Tech Meetup is held in the University’s Appleton Tower. Informatics Ventures also sponsors regular meetups held in Glasgow and Dundee. More information about all of the events can be found at http://www.techmeetup.co.uk.
