SICSA Summer School

Informatics Ventures supports the SICSA Entrepreneurs and Entrepreneurship summer school.

The aim of the SICSA Summer School is to establish a “home grown and delivered” variant of the MIT EDP and Cambridge Ignite programmes, engaging Scottish serial entrepreneurs. The three-day course is designed to give PhD students the opportunity to explore the idea of research commercialisation.

Knowledge transfer and research commercialisation are no longer something 'extra' but are becoming an integral part of academic life and you're expected to demonstrate that you are engaging with this agenda when applying for funding.

Course attendance is free for students, thanks to support from Informatics Ventures and SICSA.
