MIT Entrepreneurship Development Program 2012
Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) in partnership with Scottish Enterprise (SE) and Informatics Ventures, has secured 12 places for the most ambitious and successful businesses from across Scotland to participate on the Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) course in at the MIT Sloan School of Management in Boston in January 2012. Application to the course will be on a competitive basis and is open to both established companies and new entrepreneurial companies.
In order to be eligible for a HIE/SE or Informatics Ventures sponsored place on EDP, participants are required to have attended at least one HIE Entrepreneurs Growth Programme (EGP) workshop or Informatics Ventures MIT workshop in Scotland prior to January 2012. Please note that any participant awarded a place at EDP in January 2012 who has not already met this requirement will be obliged to meet this requirement by taking part in the EGP “Global Sales Strategies” workshop in Inverness on 11-12th October 2011.
- Deadline for Applications: Friday 9th September 2011
- Interviews will be held in Inverness on: Monday 19th – Wednesday 21st September 2011
- Successful Applicants will be advised by: Friday 23rd September 2011
- Pre-EDP Meeting in Inverness: Tuesday 18th October 2011
- EDP 2012 course: 22nd – 27th January 2012
This intensive week of world-class executive education is an invaluable opportunity for Scottish entrepreneurs to get an unfair advantage in growing their globally ambitious high-tech ventures. The Program is run by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs and is an excellent opportunity to network and develop global relationships and sales opportunities.
