Our team draws on previous experience gained in the UK and overseas and in particular on the Cambridge-MIT project and the Edinburgh-Stanford Link. We support and inspire globally ambitious software companies in Scotland.
School Commercial Team
Informatics Ventures is a sub-project of the Commercial Team at Edinburgh University’s School of Informatics. Staff on the Commercial Team work with Informatics Ventures to connect the project with the startups and spin outs in the wider School and University.
Entrepreneurs in Residence
The Entrepreneurs in Residence programme links successful local business people with promising emergent entrepreneurs. Many early stage businesses face difficulties in assembling a strong team and our network of contacts shared through EiR helps to ease that process.
