Part 1: Colin Gemmell on Dev-Ops and Chef

Dev-ops is the practice that has arose with the need to bring systems
operations (server management and server provisioning etc) closer to
software development in an agile world.

In this talk I’ll look at what dev-ops is and why team are embracing
it practices along with Chef, a tool to help configure and deploy
applications on several servers.

Part 2: The Christmas competition!

We wanted to finish the year off by getting you involved and having a
laugh, and so we challenge you to make something tech and Christmas-y.

Anything goes - the only real rule is that you must be able to demo it
within several minutes on the projector. The winner will be decided by
audience vote and awarded some Christmas drink.
