Entrepreneurs in Residence

Practitioner led education is key to developing our up and coming entrepreneurs. Scotland has a rich history of innovation and there is considerable business expertise in our communities.

Our Entrepreneurs in Residence programme links our successful business people with our most promising emergent entrepreneurs. We believe that a serious Entrepreneurs in Residence scheme helps to speed the transition of ventures from lab to market place. We also value the input and advice of our Entrepreneurs in Residence as to which projects should be given assistance and what that assistance should be.

Many early stage start ups and spin outs face difficulties in assembling a strong and fundable management team. The network of contacts shared through EiR helps to avoid this problem and eases the birth process.

Our Entrepreneurs in Residence are asked to give one day per month and be available for ‘surgeries’ and monthly meetings.
