Ignite

Now in its 11th year, Ignite is an intensive, one week training programme for aspiring entrepreneurs and corporate innovators to trial and prepare business ideas for the commercial environment. Practical teaching sessions, expert clinics, mentors' sessions and advice and support from leading entrepreneurs and innovators combine to provide attendees with the tools, contacts and confidence to transform ideas into successful business projects or ventures.

Ignite is run by the Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning which is part of the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. All “teachers” or contributors to the Ignite week are actively involved in the creation and development of new ideas and ventures. In all, there are 80 - 100 contributors; most of them are leading entrepreneurs, innovators and professionals who have gone through similar types of experiences that delegates are currently facing.

Every year, Informatics Ventures funds a number of places on Ignite, including course fees, travel and accommodation.
